About Our Member Share.

 

Our Member Share is a version of a CSA (Community Support Agriculture) program. In a CSA, community members decide early in the year that they would like to support local agriculture by subscribing ahead of time to recieve fresh products from their farmers' seasonal harvests. In doing so, these community members participate in the risks as well as reep the rewards of small scale, sustainable agriculture. Joining a CSA is a great way to to guarentee your access to locally raised, healthy and delicious foods all season long!

 

In our 2014 Member Share, we offer two levels of participation:

 

 Standard Share

Includes 2 pasture raised chickens per month, 5-6 lbs each

$250

 

 

 Family Share

Includes 4 pasture raised chickens per month, 5-6 lbs each

$485

 

Since different breeds of chickens are better suited to certain times of the season, our members have the opportunity to taste test different types of chickens, each with their own subtleties. This bit of variety is an added bonus for our members that we really enjoy offering.

 

Our Hudson Valley pickups will take place on the farm, located at 4161 Rt 9., Hudson NY.

 

Our Southern Connecticut pickups will take place at Bitta Blue Farm, located at 228 River Rd, Killingworth.

 

Alternate dropoff locations can be made for groups of 7 or more. Please contact us to make arrangements.
